For an accessible in-ground setup, we review four connected areas based on the pool type, operating condition, access, and reason for the inspection.
Visible surfaces and accessible features are reviewed for signs of wear, damage, movement, deterioration, or deferred care. That can include the shell or liner, tile, coping, deck edges, drainage conditions, ladders, rails, skimmers, returns, drain covers, and other visible parts of the swimming pool area.
The pump, supported sand or cartridge filter, heater, valves, controls, automation, chlorinator or salt system, and visible plumbing can be observed while operating when access and current condition allow. The review looks for practical signs such as leakage, unusual sound, poor flow, damaged components, or controls that do not respond as expected.
Water appearance and agreed chemistry testing can add context to circulation and care conditions. We also note visible concerns involving accessible gates, barriers, covers, rails, lights, drain covers, and the surrounding area.
After the visit, we review the observed conditions and which items deserve attention now, monitoring, or further evaluation.
An observation may call for ordinary monitoring, weekly pool maintenance, a repair quote, focused pool leak detection, or specialist evaluation.
An attached in-ground spa can be included when disclosed during intake and accessible for the visit.
The standard inspection covers visible, accessible conditions and supported equipment operation.
